Engineering Manager (Bilingual – English & Chinese Required)

We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Engineering Manager to oversee all engineering operations of our full-service hotel. The ideal candidate must be bilingual (English and Chinese), possess strong communication skills, and have solid knowledge of low-voltage systems and IT infrastructure within a hospitality environment.
This role is responsible for ensuring the hotel’s physical plant, building systems, and technology infrastructure operate efficiently, safely, and in compliance with brand standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily engineering and maintenance operations
- Manage preventive maintenance programs
- Supervise building systems including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and life safety systems
- Manage and troubleshoot low-voltage systems (CCTV, access control, Wi-Fi, network infrastructure, AV systems, POS, etc.)
- Coordinate IT-related support and vendor relationships
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and brand standards
- Manage capital projects and renovation initiatives
- Develop and manage department budgets
- Lead and train the engineering team
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of engineering management experience in hospitality
- Bilingual in English and Chinese (required)
- Strong knowledge of low-voltage systems and hotel IT infrastructure
- Experience with PMS, network systems, CCTV, access control, and building automation systems preferred
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
